About the lessons

Our tin whistle lessons are designed to guide you step-by-step on your musical journey, beginning with the basics and progressing to traditional Irish tunes.

You’ll start by getting familiar with your tin whistle’s sound, tone, and key. From there, we’ll introduce simple melodies such as nursery rhymes, song airs, and marches, building a strong foundation. As you gain confidence, you’ll move on to lively polkas and jigs, exploring the rich traditions of Irish music.

Lesson Highlights:

Starting Age: From 6 years old
Music Education: No prior experience required
Lesson Options: Choose from partner, group, or individual 30-minute sessions weekly
Skill Development: Expect to collaborate and play music with others after 12 months of lessons
All Levels Welcome: We cater to beginners, intermediate, and advanced students, both children and adults
Required Materials: Students will need a copy of ‘Tune Book 1’ from Ceoltracks

  My daughter has been a student there for the past few months. Her piano teachers are qualified and have been very professional and are very good with teaching complete beginners, very patient and full of positive feedback which has not scared my budding musician off. She has made great progress and current online lessons are also going very well. Comms from the admin team on lessons updates are very good. They offer a variety of individual and groups classes and payment plans.   I followed ukulele classes here. Generally speaking, experience is positive. Mauro (my instructor) is very helpful and skillful. Location is convenient and prices are reasonable. Only negative side is absence of whiteboards in classrooms. The instructor had to write theory and notes on disparate scraps of paper. Otherwise, recommended for amateur musicians
