Tempo Music School was started in 2011 by local musician Robert O Connor. In its early days lessons were taught from Rob’s home in Drumcondra. In 2014 after the birth of his first child, he moved Tempo into the Arts and Business Community at 40 Drumcondra Road Lower. Back then we had one room, one teacher, twenty four students and a regularly flooding basement. Now, we have a dedicated team of nine professional teachers, three rooms, 200 students, over a 1000 past pupils and a dry basement. It’s our goal to introduce music to as many people as possible in a fun and inspiring environment.
