Introduction to the instrument, recognise and find notes in both staves. Students will be taught simple exercises and songs using hands separately. They will be introduced to basic music notation and timing while developing their aural skills and sight reading.
Start from 6 years of age. (possibly 5)
No previous music education necessary
Recommend 30 minute individual lesson per week
Expect to play music with others after 12 months of tuition
We teach all levels of musicality from beginner to advanced, children and adults
Students will follow a piano book under the guidance of their teacher
Grade preparation if requested ( ABRSM and RIAM)
